The Erosion of Digital Privacy: How Companies Trade Our Data for Pennies

In today's digital age, where everything has become digital, everything is done on computers. Technology has advanced so much, so do we truly live in privacy in our lives, or is our privacy still okay? I wouldn't say anything at all, because nowadays, for a small fee, companies send all our details to other companies for record-keeping. This is a very bad thing because they think this is a very easy thing to do and do it very easily. Therefore, privacy has become a joke in today's digital world, where everyone knows everything about each other, and in today's time, big companies are doing such big things like data leaks.

I discovered this when I logged into my Gmail account on a website where you can see which companies have access to your Gmail account. Then I noticed that my Gmail account was also with a company I'd never logged in to. It also shows that this company had accessed your Gmail account from another company. So, all this, you know, inscriptions, and this thing called privacy, all of this is a lie. If we're not getting all this privacy, why should we believe it? And why should we share our email with anyone these days? Email contains everything, from your location to your phone number to the places you've logged in. If email becomes available everywhere and everyone starts doing anything, where will our privacy go?

I agree that in today's time technology has gone a lot ahead, and it is giving us benefits in everything, but in today's time security and privacy have become a joke; in today's time anyone can call you and ask for your bank details and withdraw your money. It is our mistake that we should not give our details to anyone. But from where does he get your number? He knows that you have an account in SBI, so all these details. Someone must have given them. Someone must have saved them, so all these are being scanned. In today's time, how does the owl have our number? How does the owl know which bank I have?

In today's time, social media has become a big challenge where men and women cannot post their photos because in the Deepfake AI, you people can take anyone's face and post it anywhere. You all know how bad it is to take anyone's photo and post it at some wrong place and then share all that video. It can bring disrepute to a man, and it can also bring disrepute to a woman, but in today's time, nothing is private on social media. If you want to post a photo or do anything, then you cannot do it on your private account, even by mistake, because there is no privacy there. You do not know what kind of person the other person is, so anything can happen to you, and this is what has come up in today's time and is happening in places like the dark web and deepfake AI. They are the simplest tools to harass someone with, and some innocent people become victims in this case and lose money.

Recently, some news surfaced about Apple's voice assistant, Siri, which claims it records everyone's conversations. When this came to light, Apple stated in a statement that it was only doing this to improve Siri. But is this all right? Should anyone's privacy be violated? We can do it anywhere, even on our phones. Recording voices in the bathroom, bed, etc. is just for our own benefit. Is this right? And isn't this a violation of privacy to some extent? I still don't understand Apple's justification for this. If you want to make Siri better, change its model, its backend, and its frontend. Fix them. But listening to someone's voice is one thing, recording it, and then fixing it. This doesn't make any sense to me.

And we can't forget how many companies are subsidiaries that store our personal data, which can be leaked. This ultimately results in millions of dollars of company data, such as our email address, password, or credit card number. If everything ends up in someone's wrong hands, who will take responsibility for all this? If we trust someone and enter all our details on their website, and we ask questions about everything, who will fix it? That company is responsible, because even that company can become corrupted if its server gets hacked. If we take a little precaution, never save your credit card numbers anywhere, because no one can trust such a company, be it Apple. Don't access your credit card, debit card, or anything else on Google, as this could be a huge loss.

Finally, I'll say that in today's digital and technological world, our privacy has become a joke, as companies exchange our information for a pittance. Sometimes a company will get hacked, exposing our personal details. Sometimes a Gmail account will appear, which is a scanned Gmail account. A phone call will appear. All of this is happening, and we'll have to gradually find solutions. Nowadays, solutions have been found to almost every problem. But even then, scammers and hackers have come up with new methods. A new method has gone viral. You'll receive a message on WhatsApp announcing a photo. Below it, you'll be prompted to say you know this person. As soon as you download the photo, an app will be downloaded onto your phone, giving the hackers access to all your data. They'll also have access to your phone's PIN and UPI PIN. They can withdraw money at any time, so you can sleep.

How far have they gone? That's why we're always cautious in all these things. Whatever happens, first go to your bank and report it. Block your card. File a police complaint. If you do everything on time, your money will be refunded within 3 to 5 days, and you don't need to take any action. You just need to file a complaint at the right time. And don't keep things like Alexa, Google Home, or any smart TV in your home, because these things listen to you. News reports today describe how Apple's Siri listened to many other people's conversations. When they found out, Apple gave its justification for all this. But isn't it because we've become so digital that our privacy has become vulnerable? But doesn't this force you to think about how we can protect our privacy?

I agree with you nothing is private on social media. But I dont thinks smart tv or all this data can be accessed easily or companies can access your personal details excpet you give them access to. If you read ISO 27001 you will understand.
