Same here! It was "about" 5000 people out here and had been that way "forever". Everybody knew everybody, and it had a lot of nature (more than now!).
Over the last 30 years, I have watched the same...
Roads, "infrastructure", and people.
And now they "dictate". Can't help but see it as some kind of plot. If you watched it from above with a "time loop camera" it would look like an infection moved in and took over!
Oh well enough of that!

I understand exactly what you're saying! Our road will never be the same. I'm hoping they have trouble with the water, as ironically enough, it's hard to find a viable well where I live. Plus there is some legal action with adjudication and the local native American tribe, which will throw a wrench into things.
