A change for revolutionary change

"Everyone loves their country." This is not the right statement because it would imply that most of us love our country. If everyone locked their country, then I think a country's development would be a piece of cake. Most of the people of a country belong to the category of general people, and they always want the best for their country. And as a general person, I also want to see positive change in my country.

I was born in Bangladesh, and since my birth, I've been living here, and I don't have any plan to go abroad. My country is a developing country, and there are lots of issues and difficulties. Sometimes it gave me the feeling to leave the country, but there is something that doesn't allow me to leave this country, and it's the love for my country. Many times I say that I don't love my country, and I don't care about it, but my heart knows that I love my country, and that's why I expect change in my country rather than leaving.

Do you know what the main obstacle to the way of development of my country is? It's the corruption. I believe that if corruption can be stopped, the development of my country will be more than 10X faster. In any governmental institution, we can understand that corruption has become a part of the system, and people can take bribes openly without any kind of hesitation, like it's a source of extra income for them. Only a few corrupted people are in important positions in the system; most people need to suffer.

The system is already so corrupted that the fresh blood can't change it either. When someone enters the system, they also become corrupted because of their greed. In some rare cases, we can see a few people are trying to bring some positive change, but a few people are not enough to bring the change. I love to believe that they are the spark for the change, and in the future, there will be a major change that we want.

Aside from corruption, many illegal activities are occurring in broad daylight. Many criminals are walking openly on the road without receiving any punishment. It's like they haven't done anything wrong. When it comes to vehicles, drivers are not obeying traffic rules, and there are many unlicensed vehicles on the road. In fact, most of the vehicles and drivers don't have a license.

There are a lot of things to complain about in my country, as well as the system of my country and the actions of the leaders of our country. Every general person wants to change a lot of things, and I also want to change almost every sector of my country. But if I need to choose only one change, then what will it be? I believe that a change in one sector can bring change in other sectors because this sector is a key sector. Can you guess which one I am talking about?

It is the law enforcement sector. I just want the law enforcement sector to be strict, and it should be equal for everyone. If the law enforcement sector does its task well, corruption, criminal activities, and other violations will be forced to stop. I believe that the general people of my country also will be forced to abide by the law rather than violating it. This is such a thing that can bring about revolutionary change, and it will bring positive changes in my country for sure, and I believe it strongly.

Corruption has eaten deep in my country, too that they only believe in it to make it in life. You will see police at every checkpoint taking bribes and this has even caused drivers not to even respect their uniform because once they get to them, they believe once they tip a certain amount into their hands, they will let them go. But you know, we still have a few good ones that wouldn't collect bribe because they want a change.

I also believe that if a country actually work to eradicate corruption (which I doubt it), things will definitely change.

It's indeed hard to expect the change because the law enforcement unit are one of the most corrupted unit and it's impossible to expect them to eliminate corruption. Sorry for the late reply.

I want to believe there's a reason corruption has eaten into the fabric of many developing countries, and it's sad that your country is going through the same plight. This was soulfully written. Well-done.✨

Corruption is a challenge many developing countries have to deal with, but it is deep rooted which makes it even more difficult to eradicate.

Indeed it's hard to eliminate. It's only possible if law enforcement unit work seriously. Sorry for the late reply.
