Sprinkles, Potatoe Planting, Hen, Brace, Door, Robin, Wire, Wood, Weeding - Sunday
Woke up to it sprinkling yesterday morning which was just a tiny bit from an undeveloped cell moving over us.

The sky was not super cloudy but it got thicker over the day.

I was out in the garden early planting yellow potatoes that were left over from last year.

57 spots got spuds in them above the garlic rows. 19x3. They will be later potatoes than the 4 rows of Nordland reds that are growing well already.

I was rummaging for a board to fix the brace for the yard light wire and found one of a few broody hens we have... Hopefully they wait until we are back next week to hatch them as they will be on their own this weekend.

Put the new board up and attached the wire to the shed.

Mid day a more developed cell rolled through and gave us more sprinkles. That was the weather all day long.

Cloudy, sprinkles, then sunny, then clouds, sprinkles, etc.

I had snapped the handle on our kitchen door storm door so removed the one from the door I got from a job. It went on easy and is more solid and new. I had to fix the latch side on the door frame so it sits better. The door now won't just pop open if yarded on when it is locked.

The sun was hot, then it got chilly when the clouds rolled over. I was in and out of my fleece all day.

The cat had a bad case of tape worms so @stryeyz and R went to town to get meds. I was working on removing the rest of the poles from the old pole garden when I flushed the robin from its nest. I think it's the same ones that weren nesting on the studio porch but there was too much traffic for them so they moved across the driveway to the elderberry bush.

Then I finally took the wires off the other posts and wound the wire into bundles. The poles got stacked against the Tardis.

The logs from the tree I had cut down were on the other side of the chicken fence so I lobbed them over to make it easier to haul.

Last thing my body could handle was weeding the celery and cabbage row. Surprised to have so many celery growing though they will take forever to grow.

Today I get the boys to school then come home and load the car with tools then head down for a day of irrigation installing. I have to get as much done today as I can as I have my appt tomorrow morning that will break up the day.
