Snowy Sunday Football

I'm running a bit behind schedule this morning. I had a Veteran's Day emergency at work and then my desktop computer started acting funny while trying to apply the latest Windows updates, so it has been a bit of a struggle. It's times like these I kind of wish I was running Linux on my desktop, but I have some specific programs I need Windows for. Oh well.
Fingers crossed I am on my way to some kind of resolution.
So there were some NFL football games this weekend. It was pretty awesome around the @bozz household as I decided to skip church and sit at home watching the snow fall. Meanwhile, on the TV, I was watching the Patriots/Tampa Bay game, and then the Lions game at 4:30.
Let's back up a little bit first though.
So Denver took down Las Vegas 10 to 7 in a horribly low scoring game. Thankfully, the game over in Berlin was a bit more exciting as the Falcons took the Colts into overtime, but ended up falling short 31 to 25. I actually thought we were done with the overseas games, so I totally missed that one.
Houston topped Jacksonville 36 to 29, New Orleans snagged a rare win against Carolina 17 to 7, and New England took down Tampa Bay 28 to 23. The Jets had some Sunday magic with them as they beat Cleveland 27 to 20, Baltimore took down the Vikings 27 to 19, and Miami stomped the Bills 30 to 13.
That Vikings loss stings just a bit more given the Detroit game the other weekend. I really don't see how they lost to the Vikings. Just trash!
Chicago keeps racking up the wins taking down the Giants 24 to 20, Seattle whopped all over Arizona 44 to 22, and Detroit did the exact same thing to Washington with the exact same score. It's pretty funny, I was watching that game and by the end neither starting quarterback was playing. The Lions still need to work on their defense. It was pretty loose and sloppy. They need to shore that stuff up.
The Rams made San Francisco their home beating the 49'ers 42 to 26, the Chargers beat Pittsburgh 25 to 10, and finally last night Philly beat Green Bay 10 to 7.
So, over in the AFC, New England, Indy, and Denver are all tied or first place. Meanwhile Tennessee sits alone in last place with only one win on the season.
In the NFC, Philly, Seattle, and The Rams sit at the top of the standings with the Giants and New Orleans down in the bottom.
More specifically in the NFC North, Detroit moves to the top of the standings with Chicago close behind them both with a 6 and 3 record. It's going to be a highly contested division this year I think. Right to the end unfortunately.
I hope the Lions come out on top!
