A 15k step forward. My Actifit Diary: June 3 2026

Today was a moved day! As you can see in my over-average steps. After playing a little too much on the computer yesterday, I did get up in time to hit the gym after a nice cup of coffee, and then start my errands. A lot of the steps come from pacing around in the courthouse building. I was told to be there at 11am to pick up the judges’ orders for several entities that might have the current address of Lily’s mom. Futile hope, in my opinion, but one has to jump through all the hoops. I’m going to do it right.

Anyway, I walked up and down there for an hour, doing Duolingo and whatever I could think of. When nothing was done at 12pm, I decided to come back later. Officially, they had been done at 11.44am, but when I left at 12.15pm, there was no sign of that. I went back there around 3.30pm, and had to sign 14 documents. Received, complete name, ID number, date, time, signature. That took a while. After that, I went for an alcohol free beer with a friend who does the same – no drinking within the week, and moderating on the weekend.

I really did good today. On all fronts. I even meditated again. But I don’t feel that great. Not sure why. The Tang Soo Do class didn’t catch me so much, though it was good. Just a kind of apathy, maybe. That’s okay, too, from time to time. I’ll either snap out of it, or work my way out of it somehow. In that spirit – off to rest! Thank you for reading, and have a good night!

"No drinking within the week and moderating on weekend" ‼️ Great attitude you have there; you are one-in-a-million. While it's tough for many to honour new-year resolutions, I guess you can do it without stress.

Legal hoops can take forever, but doing it right will shorten the potential time involved in the long run.

How is it that nobody has disturbed the dove's nest atop of the step ladder? Interesting!

Excellent job with your 15301 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!
